Kunnn
Kunnn…
I imagine
a soft whisper
wafting across the forehead of nothingness.
Spaceless aeons,
timeless infinities,
ceaseless beginnings;
it was done.
An old man with a crown
and a frosty beard,
playing a game of chess,
coughs.
Kunnn.
So it was.
Why does one imagine
nothingness to be black?
I’m defined by opposites
as are you.
But God
has no contrasting colour.
Is that why He’s hidden?
Kunnn.
I say it too.
Daily. Now. Tomorrow.
In the face of possibilities,
what’s Creation
between You and me?
I could be a messiah,
nay a healer, nigh a creator
and say, Kummm
to bring Lazarus back
from the dead.
Kummm…
The Lover says, Be.
The beloved says, Rise.
Kunnn.
Kummm.
I do not know where I lie.

what can one say about such creativity…or creation, shall i say? your poetry always gives me goosebumps (i get goosebumps when i read something good or hear something shocking, etc.). A job well done as always. repetition works wonders.
What can I say … your poetry just gives me bumps. I have no idea how to decipher your creation. If you can start writing a bit of background with each of your poems it would help us mere mortals understand a little bit more so that we can give some meaningful comments
wat i can make of this poem..i think i love it! hehe..its very original, very …eerie for some reason…i dunno…lol
i love love love this stanza:
Why does one imagine
nothingness to be black?
I’m defined by opposites
as are you.
But God
has no contrasting colour.
Is that why He’s hidden?
absolutey and mysteriously lovely.
*absolutely..we’re on readitlive afterall!:P
Anthropomorphism is not cool.
And it should be Qum, not Kummm.
Otherwise good use of words. I’m jealous
Uzer: not anthropomorphism. This is apotheosising humans. You’ve got it backwards…
magical:
“The Lover says, Be.
The beloved says, Rise.
Kunnn.
Kummm.
I do not know where I lie.”
Aman: Thanks. Am a bit busy with my residency right now. Have heard about ur werk. Will read whenever I find enough time…
